Today we're introducing its sibling: the [Capacitor Tauri Platform](/docs/sdks/capacitor/tauri/), a free and open-source platform that brings your Capacitor app to macOS, Windows, and Linux with [Tauri](https://v2.tauri.app/). Instead of bundling a browser, it uses the system webview and a security-first Rust core, so your desktop app installs in a few megabytes. Contributions are welcome! ## [Share Mobile App Builds with Testers via Link & QR Code](/blog/share-mobile-app-builds-with-testers/) Getting a build onto a tester's phone is one of those things that should take seconds but usually doesn't. Today, we're changing that: with **build sharing** in [Capawesome Cloud](https://capawesome.io/cloud/), you can turn any successful build into a public share link. Testers open the link, scan a QR code, and install the build on their device — no Capawesome Cloud account, no app store review, no waiting. It works for Capacitor and Cordova apps as well as native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) apps — with support for more frameworks on the way. ## [Capawesome Cloud Now Supports Apache Cordova](/blog/announcing-cordova-support-in-capawesome-cloud/) Capawesome Cloud now officially supports **Apache Cordova**. That means out-of-the-box native iOS and Android builds, automated App Store submissions, and — the part we're most excited about — over-the-air Live Updates through our new Cordova Live Update plugin. With Ionic Appflow winding down, Cordova teams have been left without a real option for cloud builds and live updates. It lets you store secrets behind an explicit biometric or device-passcode unlock — the foundation for password managers, authenticator apps, banking apps, and any app-lock screen. The plugin ships with multi-vault support, configurable auto-lock, hardware-backed encryption, and full cross-platform parity across Android, iOS, and Web.
