# Organizations

An **organization** owns your apps, members, and billing in Capawesome Cloud. Every app belongs to exactly one organization, and you can belong to multiple organizations.

## Create an organization

A first organization is created for you when you sign up. To create another, open the [Console](https://console.cloud.capawesome.io){:target="_blank"} and create a new organization from the organization switcher.

## Ownership

Each organization has an owner with full control, including billing and the ability to delete the organization. Ownership can be transferred to another member, and an organization can be deleted from its settings in the Console.
